Easy

This summer has gone by wayyy too fast, it was mostly filled with work but still I made the best of it with museum visits, laying by the pool and spending time with friends and family. Although I'm sad to see summer go, I'm really looking forward to what fall has to offer.

Shirt: Theory | Jeans: Levis |  Shoes: Banana Republic

I wore this on a day off with Maya we went to school for a quick meeting then headed to Highland Park for acacia bowls. I'm really trying to make an effort to wear more jewelry these days, currently into lots of rings and simple necklaces that make an impact. I love love love these shoes from Banana Republic they've been my go to heel this summer and a great foundation for some of my simpler looks. This look is just super easy which is all I'm going for during hot summer days.

Brand Love: Gucci

Lately I have been extremely excited about what has been coming out of the house of Gucci. Since creative director's Alessandro Micheles take-over, the iconic brand has been at the top of everyones mood board. From the famous embossed logo to the trendy cross over sandals (you know the ones) and we must not forget the Princetown fur slippers. Everything stamped Gucci is deemed hot right now! There is no denying the impact of Alessandro, his influence is present in every garment/item that walks down the runway.  In the short time he has been head of design, Gucci has soared to being the "it" brand of the moment. With this entirely new aesthetic and strong reception from bloggers, consumers and celebs alike, I cannot foresee the craze dying out anytime soon. The Gucci revolution is here to stay.

Palm Springs

 With the Birthday girl !

Finally got around to sharing some pictures from our Palm Springs trip in January! Milan and I celebrated our cousins birthday with food, photos and style. We stayed in the most beautiful Airbnb, that was tucked away in a residential neighborhood completed with a pool, electric grill, and outside day beds! It was nice to take a few days off to celebrate with loved ones. More pictures to come from our few days outside the city, so stay tuned!

Go To

Jeans; J brand, Sweater; Calvin Klein, Jacket; All saints, Boots; Zara

Every season I seem to have at least two go-to pieces, this winter I'm all about my suede Jacket and suede boots. Both the jacket and boots have a quality of their own, they are stand out pieces and easily pair with any of my other winter clothes. Personally, its important for me to have seasonal staples, it makes the decision making process so much easier while I'm getting dressed. Working and going to school full time requires me to have a formula for putting an outfit together, needless to say this jacket and boots have been the foundation of many of my looks this winter.

This Adam Lippes collection has taken a hold of me. I have no idea what it is about this collection that I love so much, maybe its the effortlessness of the garments. These garments give you an easy access to style with their no fuss, throw on-and-go pieces.

Cheat Code

Jacket: Joie, Shirt: Zara, Jeans: J brand, Boots: Aldo
These days I am digging all black ensembles when I want to look nice, but impose little to no effort, which is most days. When fashioning an all black look I start with my trusty J brand jeans, my ride or dies for the past 2 years. I feel in love with the quality of J brand so deeply that I purchased two pairs of their black jeans because for me, a great pair is hard to come by. My other obvious go to piece is a black leather jacket, a staple in my winter/fall wardrobe. I decided to opt out of black booties, instead I chose these awesome boots from Aldo-they happen to be my favorite shoe at the moment, the color is gorgeous the material looks luxe which allows the shoe to be the statement piece of any outfit. All black is a cheat code to looking chic with little to no effort, whats not to love?
